Last night we were incredibly proud to attend the Jack Petchey Achievement Award Ceremony at the Palace Theatre to celebrate the fantastic achievements of our cadets who received Jack Petchey Awards.
The Jack Petchey Achievement Award Scheme recognises young people who have shown exceptional commitment, resilience, positivity and dedication within their organisations and local communities. What makes the awards especially meaningful is that winners are nominated by their peers, recognising those who make a genuine difference to the people around them.
It was wonderful to see our cadets recognised for their hard work, support for others and contribution to the squadron. Hearing the inspiring stories and achievements of young people from across Southend made for a truly uplifting and humbling evening.
We are extremely proud of all of our award recipients and the example they continue to set for others.
