Last night we enjoyed a fantastic evening of fun, friendly competition and community spirit at our charity quiz night, raising an impressive £550 in support of cadet activities.
It was a pleasure to see so many familiar faces alongside new supporters, all coming together to enjoy a relaxed and engaging evening. The night was filled with laughter, teamwork and good-natured rivalry. Congratulations to Table 4 who had the fantastic team name of ‘Back in Quizness’, our quiz champions, while Table 6 accepted their well-earned “consolation lemons” with great humour. A special mention goes to our former Civilian Committee Secretary, Kevin, who not only helped secure victory for the winning table but also triumphed in the aeroplane flying competition.

Thank you to everyone who attended and supported the event. Your generosity makes a real difference to our cadets. Community support at events like this ensures that local young people continue to benefit from the opportunities offered by the squadron. The funds raised will go directly towards cadet training, equipment and enrichment activities, helping young people develop confidence, leadership skills and resilience through opportunities they might not otherwise experience.

Our sincere thanks go to the Civilian Committee for organising such a successful event, and to Trevor and Jenny, whose excellent quiz-mastering kept everyone entertained throughout the evening. Your continued support makes a lasting difference to the cadets and the wider community.
