Yesterday evening, some of our cadets enjoyed an excellent session bouldering at Indirock, located in the Victoria Shopping Centre in Southend.

Indoor bouldering is a form of climbing that takes place on lower walls without the use of ropes or harnesses. Instead, thick safety mats are used to protect climbers as they tackle a variety of routes, testing their strength, balance and problem-solving skills. It’s an accessible and engaging activity that challenges both body and mind, making it a great way for cadets to build confidence and resilience.
It was great to ‘hang out’ while taking on these challenges together, with plenty of determination and teamwork on display throughout the session. We look forward to visiting again in the near future.
