Saturday’s fundraising quiz night was a great success! Entry fees for the quiz, raffle, and mid-quiz paper aeroplane throwing competition raised a grand total of £586 towards Squadron funds.
A big thank you to our Deputy Chair of the Civilian Welfare Committee, Jennifer Byford, for doing such a wonderful job organising the event. She was ably assisted on the night by her grandson James and her husband, quizmaster extraordinaire Trevor.
A special mention goes to our Commanding Officer, Flt Lt Busby, who, along with her team, ensured there could be no accusations of impartiality by coming in last and proudly collecting the wooden spoons.
