Yesterday, we proudly took part in the City Remembrance Parade at the Southend Cenotaph. The event saw a tremendous turnout, with veterans, regular forces, cadets, youth organisations, and members of the community all joining together, watched by a large crowd that had gathered to pay their respects.

The two-minute silence, marked by the chimes of Big Ben, the Last Post, and an artillery gun salute, was a moving moment. This was followed by hymns, readings, and wreath-laying ceremonies, before a final march-past led by our Squadron Band. We were pleased to be joined by 1341 (Thundersley) Squadron, bringing the total to over 120 Air Cadets on parade—an impressive sight.
