On 27 July, our departure to RAF Honington for gliding was slightly delayed while we waited on a weather update. With strong winds forecast, there was a chance the day might be cancelled — but we decided to go ahead, and it paid off.
All eight cadets took to the skies. While a few were understandably nervous at first, each one returned exhilarated and proud of their achievement.
A fantastic day of flying and a great experience for all involved.
