Last weekend, we held another Basic Camp at Belchamps Activity Centre for cadets who have completed the Junior Cadet Training Programme within the past year.
The camp gave our junior cadets the opportunity to build on their First Class classification training, covering key areas such as basic navigation, safe campcraft for expeditions, first aid, and leadership. They also had the chance to develop additional skills including radio communication and archery.
The weekend also allowed some of our more experienced cadets to continue developing their leadership skills by supporting and guiding the newer members of the squadron.
