Last Saturday, a dedicated group of our cadets once again gave up their time to support the One Love Project by sorting clothes and preparing special Mothers Day gift packages. Their efforts will help make a real difference to those in need within our community.

The One Love Project is a Southend-based charity that provides essential support to vulnerable individuals and families. Through food provisions, outreach services, and welfare support, they work tirelessly to combat poverty and homelessness in the local area.
Several of our cadets have now successfully completed their Blue and Bronze Duke of Edinburghs Award (DofE) volunteering sections.

The volunteering component of the DofE programme is designed to develop key skills such as leadership, teamwork, and responsibility, while giving back to the community. Over a period of three to six months, participants engage in activities that benefit others, whether through charity work, coaching, mentoring, or environmental projects. Well done to all those who have dedicated their time and effort to achieving this milestone!
