On Sunday 26 January we had the honour of welcoming Wing Commander Weston, OC Essex Wing, and The Wing Warrant Officer, WO Kemp for our Annual Formal Inspection (AFI).
The visit began with an update from our OC, followed by outstanding individual presentations from four of our cadets, showcasing their skills, knowledge, and enthusiasm. The Wing Warrant Officer also observed the cadets practicing their marching in preparation for next Sunday’s ATC Sunday Parade.
Wing Commander Weston shared his thoughts on the visit: “It was a cracking visit to 1312 Squadron, with lots of successes to celebrate and exciting ambitions for the future, supported by a growing staff team!”
Both visitors commended the squadron on the progress made over the past year and the exciting plans ahead for 2025.
