Cadets Dobson and Irons Honoured with Jack Petchey Achievement Awards for Outstanding Contributions

Congratulations to our latest Jack Petchey Achievement Award winners Cdt Irons and Cdt Dobson

The Jack Petchey Achievement Award celebrates young people who go above and beyond to make a difference.

  • Cdt Dobson has been nominated by his peers for his instrumental role in improving uniform standards. He has provided guidance on polishing shoes, ironing uniforms, and shaping berets, while also helping others to improve their drill skills. Ronan is a dedicated cadet who motivates others to advance in their cadet careers and ensures they are prepared for camps. He is a great role model!
  • When nominating him, his peers said that Cdt Irons is a highly respected cadet who consistently demonstrates exceptional uniform standards, showing the pride he takes in wearing it. He actively participates in activities, engages in every topic, and supports his team with discipline and an open mind. Henry is always willing to help and is a pleasure to work with!

In addition to receiving their certificates and pin badges the cadets are entitled to a £300 grant to be spent on a project, event, or resources that will benefit the, squadron.

This grant allows the winners to make an even greater impact by supporting activities or equipment that everyone can enjoy.
