On Saturday, Cpl Powell had the honour of performing with the London & South Region Band in this year’s Lord Mayor’s Show, playing the trombone as part of the RAF Air Cadets. This annual parade, one of London’s oldest traditions, brings together an incredible mix of military bands, community groups, and cultural organisations. Cpl Powell and the band joined 7,000 other participants on a vibrant route starting at Mansion House and passing landmarks like St Paul’s Cathedral.
