While the motto “Be Prepared” is often associated with other youth organisations, it’s a principle that applies just as much to our cadets. On Thursday evening, we organised a special briefing and kit session to help our cadets get prepared for their upcoming Bronze Duke of Edinburgh (DofE) qualifying expedition. This session gave them the chance to receive essential advice for their expedition.
It was great to see so many parents and guardians actively involved, attending the briefing alongside the cadets. Their support is invaluable in helping our young people succeed in such challenging activities.
We’d also like to extend a big thank you to Cpl Barot-Patel. As she is preparing for her own Silver DofE qualifying expedition, she took the opportunity to share some of her tried-and-tested tips and tricks for expedition kit preparation, making the evening even more informative and engaging for everyone.
